Kennesaw State University congratulates the more than 5,000 students named to the Spring 2019 Dean's List. Students enrolled at least 9 credit hours and with a grade point average of at least 3.5 were named to the list.

Kennesaw State University recently named students to the President's List, in recognition of their academic excellence for the Spring 2019 semester. To achieve this honor, each student must have completed at least 9 semester hours with a term grade point average of 4.0.

Nearly 150 Angelo State University student-athletes and student athletic trainers have made the Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll for the 2019 spring semester. ASU posted the highest number of honorees for any LSC school. To be eligible for the Commissioner's Honor Roll, a student-athlete or athletic trainer must earn at least a 3.3 grade point average (GPA) for the semester and be on a current team roster. More than 150 students from the Georgia State University College of Law earned law (Juris Doctor) degrees during the spring 2019 semester. The university honored students for their achievements this past May, and officially conferred law degrees in late June 2019.

University of North Georgia (UNG) President Bonita C. Jacobs recognized students who achieved a 4.0 GPA during the spring 2019 semester. Students enrolled in 12 or more credit hours in bachelor's degree programs who achieved a 4.0 grade point average were named to the President's Honor Roll. Students enrolled in associate degree programs who met the same level of achievement were named to the President's List.

The deans of each of UNG's five colleges - the College of Arts & Letters, the College of Education, the College of Health Sciences & Professions, the Mike Cottrell College of Business, and the College of Science & Mathematics - announced the names of those students who made their respective lists for spring 2019. Dean's List recognition is achieved by having at least a 3.5 grade point average, carrying 12 or more credit hours in one semester and having no grade lower than B.

Eleven students in the Honors College at Georgia State University presented their undergraduate research during the 2019 National Conference on Undergraduate Research.

The Alpha Eta National Honor Society promotes and recognizes significant scholarship, leadership, and contributions to the allied health professions. Baccalaureate degree candidates who have maintained an overall GPA of 3.5 or better are eligible for induction. The Alpha Eta motto is "Together We Serve" to represent all of the allied health professions. Georgia State University became a founding member of Alpha Eta in March 1975.

Angelo State University conferred 820 undergraduate and graduate degrees on 814 graduates during its 2019 spring commencement exercises on May 11 in the ASU Junell Center/Stephens Arena in San Angelo, Texas. Four members of the Angelo State University Rams basketball team earned All-Lone Star Conference honors at the LSC Postseason Awards Banquet March 6 in Frisco, Texas. Senior guard James Kirksey was named to the LSC All-Defensive Team and earned All-LSC honorable mention.
